bye bye..

After visiting various villages and cities on the way, stopping off in Lisboa and spending two weeks at the Algarve coast, for our last stop we chose Porto, an iconic and one of the most popular places in Portugal among the travelers. As we were expected to be, we were happy to be there and had great time spending long hours sipping lemonade, iced tea and coffee in some modern and terrific-looking spots hid in the pedestrian area. What a fantastic ending of our beautiful, family, summertime vacation..

Life is filled with tragedy, with long patches of struggle and with, I think, beautiful bursts of joy and accomplishment. Blessed with those moments, you just try to relax as much as possible and focus on the little things, like the joy of changing your baby’s diaper.

Once you get to that point when you can just be yourself and relax, I just think that you’re so much happier in general.

..recalling the very last glow of summer sun rays.. on the way, the splendid way, for our family vacation :))

France and Spain

France x Spain

As the 2017 has begun, you might be strarting looking for a holiday destination for the next summer. Basically, that’s why I decided to finally upload some pictures from my ‘France x Spain’ trip.

Half a year ago, in the end of September my friends and I went on a trip across France ending in Spain, Barcelona. Surprisingly, our first stop was in Lichtenstein, which is a little country in between Switzerland, Austria and Germany. We saw a munumental, but in the same time beautiful castle of Hohenzollern, which looks exactly like as it was caught up in a Disney movie.
The very next place we visited and stopped off in was Strasbourg, le petite France as they call it that way. I liked this place to much, it really appealed to me. After that we’ve seen Clermont Ferrand with its stunning architecture with the amazing cathedral in the forefront. Then as a final stop, we stayed in Barcelona for a couple days. On the way back we’ve visited Narbonne and Avignon, which were just gorgeous in its beauty.

Three days of long beach walks, calm atmosphere and endless relaxation

Right before the vacay season, I went to the Polish seaside. With my family, we stayed in Jastrzębia Góra in a beautiful guest house. It was some kind of a luxary and elegant place, but in the same time it was really warm and very home-like People working there were so kind and so caring that I wanted to shout it out loud and recommend this place to all the travellers from around the world!
The house is called Villa Victor and it’s pretty gorgeuos. Every day, as we wrere there, my grandma, my mom and I, had this amazing routine, which was pretty much like this:
We woke up around 8 o’clock, oh okay, maybe I did get up like half an hour earlier, then, when we were all ready and dressed up, we went to the restaurant downstairs to enjoy the breakfast in this stunning room with a very beautiful sea view. Also there was a very pretty tarace, but as it was this time of the year, it was a bit chilly in the morning, mostly because of the sea breeze.
Then, we would go for a few hour long walk through the beach. That’s the thing which is pretty amazing in Poland, that the beaches are so wide, so beautifully sandy and that they are so long you can walk and walk for hours and there are still many kilometers of the wonderful seaside to walk forward.
Our trip was such a great experience which let all the stress we absorbed during the school/work year go away and when we came back we were all relaxed and full of the interior calmness.

Morning Inspiration: spring edition

Carrot and Zucchini Muffins and Puff Pastry Rolls

If it’s raining outside or if the weather’s a little chilly, it’s a great idea to bake ourselves some breakfast pastries. Here, I present carrot walnut muffins, which are made from zwidokiemnasol.pl ‘s recipe, zucchii muffins also form this blog and puff pastry rolls, which are basically puff pastry, I used premade by Blikle bakery, stuffed with chocolate, fruit marmolade and, as a salty version, with cabbage filling.
